'Messiah Sing'

The Shenandoah Valley Music Festival will sponsor a “Messiah Sing” on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Reformation Lutheran Church in New Market. A “Messiah Sing” is not for an audience, but is for the singers alone and is a time when singers of all kinds, ages and experience can gather together just for the fun of adding Handel’s “Messiah” to their Christmas Holidays.
The afternoon schedule includes two hours of practice from 4-6 p.m. Although this will be the only practice for the group as a whole, some smaller groups of singers will be gathering prior to Dec. 3.
The “Sing” will be directed by the Rev. George Sims and Nancy Cross will be the organist. Copies of the “Messiah” score will be on hand
