The winter sports season is beginning at Rappahannock County High School. The Panther boys’ basketball team will begin its regular season on Dec. 6, following several pre-season scrimmages against F auquier and ^uray high schools.
In January, the girls’ volleyball team and the eighth-grade boys’ basketball teams will begin their seasons.
Games scheduled for the coming weeks are as follows: Boys’ basketball
Tuesday, Dec. 6: Shenandoah Academy at Shenandoah.
Thursday, Dec. 8: Clarke County at RCHS. Season opener at home. Lions Night, in recognition of the club’s contribution of the scoreboards in the gymnasium.
Junior Varsity games begin at 6 p.m., with Varsity contests following immediately afterward.
