Richard James

Richard Elroy (Roy) James, 80, of Amissville died Saturday, Nov. 26, at Fauquier Hospital.

Survivors include one sister, Annie Holmes of Culpeper, three nieces, Dora Clatterbuck of Amissville, Edith Calhoun of Chevy Chase, Md., and Dorothy Wagner of Vienna, four nephews, Earl Holmes of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Charles Holmes of Amissville, Lewis Holmes of Fairfax and Lee Goin of Corbett, Ore.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Amissville United Methodist Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Steve Parker and the Rev. Lewis Holmes officiated.

Arrangements were by Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton.
