Flea market at Castleton
Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Department will be having a flea market on Saturday, August 26 beginning at 9 a.m. Donations may be dropped off at the fire house or for further information or pickups, call 937-5614 or 937-5292. There will be no special activitives at the fire department on Saturday night, July 1. They will resume on July 8.
Flint Hill carnival planned
Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department’s annual carnival will be held Aug. 2-5. Scheduled events include rides all evening Wednesday for one low price beginning at 7 p.m.; Thursday evening the parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday, awarding of prizes which will include a 1989 Dodge. Area residents are urged to mark their calendars and make plans to attend.
