“I’m against cable TV coming in at all," said Jon Heddleston of Sperryville. He said one basis for his objection was economics. “You have a lot of families in Rappahannock who make $10,000 or less per year. In my opinion those families will want that cable.” He suggested that with a base rate of $19.95 and with extra services costing $6 to $10 each many families would be spending $J0 or $40 per month for TV. “A lot of those families don’t have a toilet, but they have TV, and they’ll get that cable.”
