CulpeperFest July 20

The eighth annual CulpeperFest will be held Thursday, July 20 from 5-8 p.m. at Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Rt. 29 South. Musical entertainment, barbecue picnic and prizes will be featured. Tickets available until July 14 at Culpeper banks and Culpeper Chamber of Commerce. For information call 825-8628.

Transit van route hearing

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 12, 1989 at 1 p.m. to seek input and comments on a proposed re-routing of CSC Transit van routes within PD 9. This hearing will be conducted at the Center’s offices at 401 South Main Street, Culpeper.

Child Development course

The Rappahannock Education Action Project (REAP) is offering a three-credit Child Development course through Lord Fairfax Community College this summer. The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning July 6 at the Child Care and Learning Center. Dr. Oran Stewart of Shenandoah College will be the instructor. Tuition is $80. Registration will be July 5. Call 675-3267 for information. The class will meet for eight weeks. There will be a REAP meeting in July (date to be announced) to plan a Fall schedule of classes.
