almanac
According to the Hagers-Tomi Town and Country Almanac, this is the outlook for July.
We look for above average temperatures and precipitation during the month. Could we be expecting more of the hot summer of last ye£r but with no repeat of the drought conditions?
Weather wratch: Expect storms 8-10. Humidity will be very high 1113 (hazy and hot), 16, 17 (warm), 2124 (hazy and hot) and 28-31 (very warm). We’ll be picking up more moisture during the periods 14 and 15 (showers), 18-20 (heavy rain and windy) and 25-27 (showers and storms.)
As usual, the dog days begin on the 3rd.
Full moon: July’s full moon, known by many as the hay moon, especially if the weather has been cooperative, occurs on the 18th at 12:42 p.m. Those w'ho follow Indian lore often refer to it as the buck moon.
Tornado watch: Residents from the midw'est to Mid-Atlantic areas should be on the alert 19-21.
