Fire Board meets in Winchester
The Virginia Fire Services Board will hold a regional public meeting on Thursday, Aug. 16 at the Holiday Inn, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Committee meetings will be held during the day, with the Fire Prevention and Control Committee meeting at 9 a.m., and the Fire/EMS Training and Education Committee and the Legislative Committee meeting at 1 p.m. The board will hold its regular business meeting on Friday, Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. These regional meetings are designed to allow members of the public to meet the members of the Fire Services Board and the Department of Fire Programs. All meetings will be held in the executive center located at the back of the Holiday Inn.
