Funeral services were held Aug. 10 at Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home Chippenham Chapel in Richmond. Interment was in Dale Memorial Park.
Eldon Lindsay
Eldon Russell Lindsay, 79, of Osprey, Fla. died Aug. 11 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Mr. Lindsay was born Aug. 11, 1911 in Marietta, Ga., the son of Mrs. Corrie Mae Peed and the late Clifford Eldon Lindsay. He was selfemployed in investments.
Survivors iB addition to his mother include his wife, Betty Snead Lindsay of Osprey, Fla., formerly of Rappahannock; two daughters, Margaret Russell Wade of Atlanta, Ga. and Carolyn Cobb Lindsay of Osprey, Fla.; one son, Mark Eldon Lindsay of Osprey, Fla.; three step-daughters, Margaret Robbins of Winchester, Susan Crossman of Boyce and Jini Ripley of Charlottesville; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services were held Aug. 13 at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Ga. with Mrs. Lorene Holleman, Past Reader officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund of The First Church of Christ Scientist in Venice, Fla.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Robert L. Butler Jr.
Robert Lee Butler Jr., 73, of Front Royal died Aug. 6 in Heritage Hall Health Care Center.
Mr. Butler was bom April 28, 1917, in Flint Hill, the son of the late Robert Lee and Sarah Lillian Moulden Butler Sr.
Surviving are his wife, Elfreda Sisk Butler; one son, Robert Dalton Butler of Bethesda, Md.; two brothers, Lyle Butler of Millwood and Floyd Butler of Greenbelt, Md.; two sisters, Dorothy Russell of Brucetown and Eleanor Butler of Warrenton; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Aug. 9 in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Upperville with the Rev. William Heslop officiating.

Rev. B. Gale Titchenell, of Locust Grove, bom Aug. 21, 1910 in Chicago, 111. died Aug. 2 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
