In order to avoid a repeat of
the $10,000 deficit in last year’s school lunch program, the Rappahannock school board voted at Monday’s meeting to up the price of meals for the coming term with the proviso that the cost can be increased further if it appears the program will operate at a loss.
Sworn in Wednesday to the Rappahannock Planning Commission is David Thornhill of Woodville who fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Walter Masterson, also of Woodville. David operates the farm of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carey Thornhill at Boston.
