Spicer Jr. of Woodbridge; his mother, Willie Spicer of Culpeper, and three grandsons, Billy, Patrick and Nicholas Spicer, all of Woodbridge.
Funeral services were held Aug. 12 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Woodbridge. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.

William Lawson
William Lawson, 94, of Rixeyville died Aug. 12 at his home.
Mr. Lawson was a retired logger and a farmer.
He was a native of Rappahannock County and had lived in Culpeper County for 77 years.
Mr. Lawson was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Lawson; five daughters, Icy King and Mary Talbert, both of Amissville, Willia Anne Gaskins of Jeffersonton, Pearl Williams of Washington, D.C. and J. Pauline Lawson of Rixeyville; two sons, Armstead and Ernest Lawson, both of Rixeyville; one sister; two brothers; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several greatgreat-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Amissville Aug. 15 with the Rev. Odell Moore of Middleburg officiating.
W.C. Thomspon Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
