Leslie F. Titchenell of Dale City, Michael D. Titchenell of Culpeper and Robert G. Titchenell of Wardorf, Md.; one daughter, Lovina Sue Titchenell of Rogers, Ark.; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Christopher; one granddaughter, Angela; one sister, Winifred Catellier of Ellettsville, Ind.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Leslie; two sisters, Virginia and Helen Almida; one grandson, Kevin Gale; and his parents, James Blaine and Eula Pearl Neely Titchenell.
Rev. Titchenell taught at Rappahannock County High School from 1960-1978. In 1978 he received an honorary diploma from Rappahannock High School. He was a retired Baptist Minister having served churches in Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Virginia. He retired from Woodville Baptist Church in 1979.
He was a graduate of Georgetown College, Georgetown, Ky., Croger Theological Seminary, Chester, Pa., now Colgate Rochester Divinity School, Berley Hall Croger Theological Seminary, Rochester, N.Y. and James Madison University (formerly Madison College), Harrisonburg.
He was a long time volunteer with Boy Scouts of America holding Silver Beaver, Good Shepherd, Eagle and other awards.
He was a charter member of Lake of the Woods Lions Club and served as their Chaplain continuously.
He served six years in the U.S. Marine Corp. between 1928-1936.
Funeral services were held at Woodville Baptist Church Aug. 4 with the Rev. Peyton Wiltshire and the Rev. L. Starke Jones officiating. Interment was in Woodville Cemetery.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
William H. Spicer
William H. Spicer, 65, of Occoquan, Va., formerly of Rappahannock, died Aug. 9 at Fairfax Hospital.
He was in the Navy during WWII serving on the U.S.S. Alabama Battleship. He was a life member and past president of O.W.L. Volunteer Fire Department and captain of the O.W.L. Rescue Squad, Woodbridge.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Cannon Spicer; one son, William H.
