At 2 p.m., crab races will be running; contestants can purchase a crab, and race it against others. Crab races will repeat at 3:45 p.m.

Also planned are face painting, wood building blocks and a sandbox for the kids, all under adult supervision.

Evening will usher in a repeat performance by the Pan Masters Steel Band on the lawn in front of the Warren Green Building on Culpeper Street in Old Town. Concert goers will recall their performance from 1989, when Culpeper Street was transformed by the pulsating rhythms of the Caribbean.
