The Board of Zoning Appeals this week granted a variance from front and side setback requirements for a house Elizabeth Smith has already built.
Mrs. Smith’s house, on a long right-of-way outside Flint Hill, is in a conservation zone. The house was supposed to be built at least 100 feet from any property lines. On one side it is less than 50 feet from a neighboring property. On another side it is about 75 feet. Three neighboring properties are involved.
