Anne Keyser

Mrs. Anne Slaughter Keyser, 87, died Monday, July 29 at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Madison.

Mrs. Keyser taught in the public school system of Rappahannock and Warren counties for 55 years.

Mrs. Keyser was very instrumental in the restoration of Mt. Salem Baptist Church near Washington.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Mr. Aubrey Keyser of Washington; and a brother, Albert J. Slaughter of Leesburg.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday at Eastham cemetery, Fodderstack Road, Washington. The Rev. Darrell Bare will officiate.

Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper is in charge of the arrangements.
