Class reunion

The 1986 class of Rappahannock High will hold their five year reunion Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Rappahannock Park, U.S. 211, Wash ington. The event will begin at 4 p.m. For more information call Henry B. Wood at 703-751-1061, evenings.

Art class to be held

Laurie Marshall will offer an art class for children ages 6-12 at Middle Street Gallery beginning Monday, Aug. 12 and continuing through Friday, Aug. 16. The time will be from 9 a.m. until noon. Cost is $25 and scholarships are available. Call 675-3267 to register.

Hunter safety course

School Board changes meeting

The School Board meeting scheduled for the second week in August has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Aug. 20 at Rappahannock High.

Jenkins reunion set

The annual reunion of the family of the late Alfred and Catherine Gearing Jenkins will be held Sunday, Aug. 11 at Rappahannock Park on U.S. 211, Washington. All friends and relatives are urged to attend. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

Youth summer classes

The Rappahannock Extension Office will be conducting three 4-H home economics workshops for youth ages 9-13 this summer.

Programs scheduled for this summer include: bread baking, 9 a.m.-noon, Aug. 13, $1 fee; supersitter, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Aug. 15, $1 fee and food for fun, 9:30 a.m.-noon, Aug. 26-27, $2 fee. Health fair

Hospice of the Rapidan and Continuing Home Care are sponsoring a Community Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2 at the Culpeper Baptist Church on West Street. Over sixteen organizations specializing in health care will be attending to answer questions and to address particular needs. The health fair is free to the public. Antique show and sale

The first annual Rappahannock County Antique Show and Sale will be held at Rappahannock Elementary Sept. 28 and 29. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 12 p:m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and early bird is from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday. Regular admission will be $3.50 and early bird costs $15. There will be quality merchandise, moderate prices and no reproductions and will benefit the Child Care and Learning Center. Interested dealers should contact Charles A. Craft show planned

The Culpeper Extension Homemakers will hold their 20th Annual craft show on Saturday, Oct. 5. Since the show is held inside the Homemakers Building it will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Culpeper Ag. Enterprise grounds Rt. 29 S., Culpeper. Spaces are available to Culpeper and surrounding area craftera. The large building, ample parking, rest rooms, and all day snack bar make it an ideal spot to display and sell crafts. Feast Fantastic to be held

Shenandoah Feast Fantastic will be held at the 4-H Educational Center in Front Royal from noon until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Camp Fantastic and YES - Youth Experience & Success.

Sample food from 30 or more Shenandoah Valley restaurants without moving more than a few steps. Area eateries will prepare their best known specialty dishes for patrons to savor. Diners can roam and sample a wide variety of food with a maximum cost of $2.50 per dish. Live entertainment and special activities are planned for this festive block party.
