Each evening before she leaves the books must be ballanced. She said it is sometimes 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. before she leaves the office.
“If something is wrong here, and I go home with it, I can’t sleep,” she explained.
Mrs. Foster also serves as treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
She is an active member of the Washington Baptist Church. She takes regular exercise classes and each year she walks in the Fodderstack 10-K Race. Her husband Warren is retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation.
“I like working with people, and I like Rappahannock,” Mrs. Foster said, explaining why she wants to continue as Treasurer.
