irouper iy.il. iveen stuppcu a vehicle for speeding on U.S. 211 at Route 645 at 4:30 p.m. July 25, and during a consent search found suspected marijuana, according to Sgt. D.S. Adams of the State Police.
Arrested for possession of marijuana were Charles Lenwood Ellis, 22, of Luray, and William /David Lawson, 28, of Stanley, according to Sgt. Adams.
Lawson was operating a 1984 Chrysler westbound on U.S. 211 when stopped by Trooper Keen, said Sgt. Adams. Lawson was also charged with speeding.

• Juan Maria Turon, 31, of Castle ton, was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Route 618, two-tenths of a mile west of Route 729, at 1:30 a.m. July 28, according to Sgt. Adams.
Turon was operating 1991 Ford pickup westbound on Route 618 when the car went off the right side of the road and hit an embankment.
