Produced by the team that brought us "Three Men and a Baby," this touching story is about a young city-raised boy (Wood) who is staying the summer with Griffith and Johnson (who are grieving the death of their infant) in a rural town known as Paradise. Wood, unaware of the infant tragedy, finds himself entangled in Griffith's emotional demons. He works a shrimp boat with Johnson and finds friendship with 9year-old Birch.
Griffith and Johnson deliver deeply affecting performances in this gentle, touching and special movie. Parents are strongly cautioned: this film may not be suitable for small children.
Rated PG-13, 79 minutes. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children.
