JVs fall to Strasburg
The JV basketball team played a “really sound" Strasburg squad Jan. 17 and were beat by 20 points, 48-28. Jason Settle’s 6-for-8 field goal shooting led Rappahannock, A1 Kellert added six points and five rebounds and Raymond Williams and Ray Atkins both had four points.
“It’s no so much poor shooting or we’re not getting the shots," said Coach Tim Corder. “We’ve got players who are good shooters but they’re afraid to shoot."
The loss dropped the team’s record to 2-8 overall, 1-8 in the district.
