Junior Panthers shine on
The Junior Panthers basketball team continued its winning ways this week by beating Strasburg Friday night, 41-37. The team is now 41, headed for a rematch against Page at home 4 p.m. Friday. In a onepoint overtime game earlier in the Mason, Page gave the Junior Panthers their only loss. Coach Leake said he hoped for a solid fan turnout for the grudge match.
Against Strasburg last week Jason Brown continuer! to score, getting 16 points. Jon Butler added Pi and Jeff Atkins nine. Rappahannock was up 21-6 at the end of the first quarter and then let up a bit, said Coach Leake.
