It would appear that the majority of the village turned out to help Mrs. Omega Hitt celebrate her 80th birthday on Sunday at Amissville Baptist. She’s a very special mom to most in the community. She’s been a charter member of the Amissville Homemakers Club for 29 years and. is still very active in the Club. Among her many friends and relatives helping her celebrate was her sister Mrs. Ollie Baker of Manassas.
The Amissville Playground Group is making final preparations to begin work on a kids’ playground to be located at Stuart Field.
