He was released on $6,000 bond Tuesday after a hearing in front of General District Court Judge Charles Foley.

•Jerry C. Pullen, 80, of Washington, Va., was arrested this week and charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly threatening a witness in a pending case in Rappahannock Circuit Court, according to Rappahannock Sheriff John H. Woodward.
• A 16-year-old pedestrian was injured when hit by a car on U.S. 211 at the intersection with Route 1001 at 4:20 p.m. Jan. 16, according to Sgt. D.S. Adams of the State Police.
The boy apparently stepped into the path of an oncoming 1984 Chevy sedan, operated by 40-year-old Edward Solon Bailey of Luray, said Sgt. Adapts.
Trooper S.M. Knick investigated; no charges were placed.
• Leroy Anthony Driver, 33, of Woodbridge, was charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on U.S. 622 at the intersection with Route 630, according to Sgt. Adams.
