Business Council;
elects officers
Members of the Sperryville Business Council met on Sunday, Jan. 1ST for their regular meeting and also to, elect officers for 1992.
New officers are president Bruce> Wetteroth, vice president Jimmj? Swindler, treasurer Martha O’Bannon and secretory Barbara Burke.
Plans for the annual Memorial* Day festival which will be held May* 23 and 24 were discussed, as well as( plans for the new Sperryville brochure. Any business in Sperryville wishing to be included should con-, tact Barbara Burke at 675-3338 day^ or 987-8058 evenings.
Several business council mem-, bers will also be participating in special sales for George Washington’s birthday weekend. Again contact Barbara for advertising rates, dead-, lines, etc.
The next meeting of the council will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday,’ March 1 at Country Home Antiques.-'
