plications for EDUs must be submitted in advance of use. About 175 EDUs have been approved out of a current maximum of around 200. However, the wastewater plant is not approaching capacity; it typically processes 20,000 gallons a ..ay, well below the maximum of 55,000 gallons daily.
As discussed at last month’s meeting, the authority voted to conduct a review amd inspection of the sewer system except for the wastewater plant itself. The inspection will cover all 150 tanks in the system, including lines, lids, gaskets and the tanks themselves. Worn-out components will be fixed or replaced as needed.
The inspection will be conducted by Donna Chabot, operator of the wastewater plant, and Troy Jenkins. The wastewater plant is not included in the inspection because the plant isv maintained on a daily basis by the operator, explained Mr. Leggett.
