Minnie Garr

Minnie Lee Fincham Garr, 72, of Culpeper died on Thursday, Aug. 26 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.

She was bom on March 20, 1921, in Rappahannock County.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Fincham.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Garr of Culpeper; two daughters, Shirley Cox of Orange and Carolyn Grimslev of Marshall; three sons, James Fincham of Palmyra, Franklin Fincham of Louisa and Gary Fincham Hudson of Madison; three sisters, Addie Keyser of Washington, Ollie Dodson of Culpeper and Mattie Butler of Culpeper; eight grandchildren and 12 great-granchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Aug. 30 at Preddy Funeral Home in Orange with the Rev. Mike Hatfield officiating.

Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery in Washington.

Preddy Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
