Identifies and records field data; maintains equipment use and rental records- and locates borings and works with utility locators to avoid damaqe or service interruptions. Must be able to record field data, prepare reports, interpret and follow oral and written instructions, and perform manual labor and possess a valid Virginia Operator’s license, and timely receipt of a Commercial Dover's License (CDL). HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR C #06303 - Culpeper. Individual to operate centerline highway equipment and provide edqeline and centerline pavement markings to roadwave. Maintains proper paint levels by loading paint supplies; completes reports on hours worked and materials used; and supervises and instructs others in operating and maintaining equipment. Operates and maintains medium duty highway equipment and performs manual labor. Must have knowledge of safety practices and regluations; be able to operate medium duty highway equipment, perform heavy manual labor, instruct and supervise others, and complete reports; and possess a valid Vir-' ginia Operator's license, safety shoes, and timely receipt of a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Salary: $1,6.458 -$25,129. TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER #09573 - Culpeper. Individual to manage traffics engineering investigations and monitor highway projects from field inspection to construction. Must have knowledge of traffic engineering practices; be able to analyze data and draw logical conclusions, communicate effectively and supervise the work of others. Individual to operate light and medium duty highway equipment, such as 2-3 ton trucks, sickle mowers, and brush cnippers in the construction, repair, and maintenance of roads and their surrounding right of ways. Performs manual labor, such as loading/ unloading vehicles, cutting brush, flagging traffice, and snow removal; constructs” simple structures; and perform prevqptivMnd minor maintenance on equipment.
