pions in* the 16 and Under division and Willie Eastham and Rob Reeve receiving the plaque for 2nd place. The determined team ef Alex Baumgardner and Lain Carney beat out Brian Evans and Ned Parrish for the 12 and Under Championship title.

Each player received favors provided by the Rappahannock Park Authority. Refreshments in the way of watermelon was donated by the* Flint Hill Store and Martins’ Grocery. Brian Evans won the Dominos Pizza certificate.

All the players need to be complimented on the exceptional sportsmandship behavior display on the tennis courts. They have been instructed well in court etiquette. - At the end of the tournament, the questions from exhausted but anxious players were--when is the next tournament; is Hunt Harris giving any more clinics; Can we have team tennis in the County.

The answer to all those questions can be yes! Hunt Harris (636-3066) will be starting clinics the week of September 13. Give your input as to scheduling to either Hunt Harris or Jean Lillard (675-3670). Yes we will be schduling another Juniors’ Tournament at the conclusion of the clinics.

And yes we can have team tennis possibly sponsored by the Rappahannock County Park, but we need parents and organizers. It is always exciting to think aobut the possibility of a high school tennis team. Students, parents and backers need to talk to the school officials, our school board and the supervisors. Intakes time and money but it is a real possibility.
