Plague Driver
A Washington man ran off the road twice in two days in two separate one-vehicle accidents last week.
The driver, Bradley Dodson, 76, appeared unhurt after both accidents. Both occurred in clear weather on straight highways and involved Dodson’s vehicles only.
The two vehicles both sufferedconsiderable damage.
The first incident occurred last Thursday on the Fodderstack Road east of Washington. Dodson apparently lost control of his 1986 Ford pickup and swerved to the side of vtheroad. •
The next day Dodson overturned - his 1962 Ford van on U. S. 522 east of
Flint Hill. (
Virginia State Police Trooper C, Wayne Sumner^ whb^nvestigated. the van accident, said that Doidson apparently lost control and “ran into a ditch for about 100 feet.” The van overturned when Dodson tried to turn back onto the road. He was
