Beekeepers To Meet i
The Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association will hold its fall meeting on Thursday, Sept. 2 at the Jefferson Savings and Loan Association building, 701 South Main Street, Culpeper. 1
The program for the evening will be a mixture of education and pleasure with fall management and disease control being the highr lights of the educational program. Ann Harman will give a photographic tour of beekeeping in Hungary and Macedonia. A display of beekeeping bpoks for purchase will be available. For further information contact J.C. Fundraising Event .
The Friends of the Rappahannock Library will be having a fundraising event entitled, “A Novel Affair” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18 at The Meadows, the home of Edward and Martha Barton in Washington. ■
The!’event, featuring a light buffet and dancing, is designed around a literary motif and all guests are encouraged to corne as their favorite literary character. All proceeds will go towards the replensihment and enhancement of the adult and children’s classics collection of the library. Tickets are $25 per person. RLEP Annual Meeting
Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will be having it’s annual meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23 at the Spring Mountain School. The presentation will be exciting as well as varied.
