Animals And

Abortions

To the Editor:

Cam writing in regards to two Letters to the Editor. Lucy W. Ferjtuson’s “Fund Abortions" and David t\ Roberts' “I)og$ get Prayer", appearing in the August 18th issue of the Rappahannock mars.

Obviously they are two different people writing about two differentsubjects but 1 couldn’t help but be saddened bv Ms. Ferguson’s lack of compassion for her fellow man. Because children in Brazil are being treated so cruelly her answer is to kill them before they are born. Then I read how Mr. Roberts’ is so inspired to sit down and write such a tender, loving letter and prayer for (logs.

I was truly disheartened, not by Ms. Ferguson’s opinion that through tax dollars we should all pay for abortion or by Mr. Roberts' love of animals, but by the letters together, side by side. 1 just pray 1 wasn’t the only one who noticed.
