With the General Assembly under way, Virginians can anticipate potential tax cuts, but they also will learn which state programs will be cut to make up for the lost state revenue.

Gov. George Allen’s proposed tax cuts include tripling personal, dependent, blind and age exemptions for Virginia’s individual income tax. This tax cut would result in $1.35 billion less state revenue over a five year period.
