maturity. Maturity comes from being able to survive some of the frustrations that come from parenting children, especially during teenage years.
Yet, when the children follow Hebrews’ advice and “go on to maturity", then the parents experience a growing maturity that comes precisely because they have hung in there with the growing children.
And both children and parents ultimately come to know the joy of being family and more importantly of being a “maturing family."
