Real Estate Seminar Set

The Greater Piedmont Area Association of Realtors will sponsor a seminar for the real estate professional on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The goal-setting seminar, entitled Managing My Objectives, will be held at the GPAAR Building, 47 Garrett Street, in Warrenton.

The professional development seminar will offer dozens of tips for real estate agents on how to manage their objectives and plan effectively for their success. The presentation is by Donald E. Daly. Mr. Daly is locally recognized speaker on real estate related topics and teacher of real estate continuing education. The cost is $20 for GPAAR members and $25 for nonmembers. Registration Underway

Registration is now open for the 19th annual Bryan Adrian Summer Basketball Camp. Boys and girls ages 5 to 18 are eligible. Master Gardener Training

The Fauquier County Extension Office will conduct the 1997 Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program during February and March. Classes will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Extension Office in Warrenton. The first class will be Feb. 4.

The Master Gardener Program involves 50 hours of classroom instruction. Upon completion of the classroom portion, participants are required to return 50 hours of volunteer service to the program. The cost for the program is $75, which includes the Virginia Master Gardener Handbook. Persons interested in the program should contact the Fauquier Extension Office at 341-7950. All applicants must make an appointment to pick up a registration form and participate in an orientation interview.

Recruiters Meeting Set
