Adult Education Survey
The Rappahannock County Public School plan to offer adult education classes beginning in January 1997. A survey is now being conducted to determine the types of classes to be offered. Anyone wishing to contribute their opinion or teach classes are encouraged to contact Jeanie Dwyer at 987-8773.
Open House Slated
Equine Reproduction Concepts, a full service equine reproduction facility will host an open house and grand opening from 10 a m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 4 and 5. Slide presentations will be at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The facility headed by Dr. Vito DelVento and Kevin Dippert, is located at 111 Hackley's Mill Road in Amissville. For more information, call 937-9832.
Classes To Begin
Shorin-Ryv Okinawan Karate classes will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Ki Theatre on Gay Street in Washington. Apple Butter Available
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department made apple butter over the weekend and it is now available at the cost of $16 a gallon or $4 a quart. All proceeds will benefit the fire department. To get yours call Jeff at 636-3279 or 635-5482.
* AIDE Workshop Set
Rappahannock County High School will be hosting a financial AIDE workshop on Jan. 6th at 6:30 in the RCHS library. The purpose will be to help parents of college-bound students learn how to complete the FAFSA and learn about grants and loans. Coping With Holiday Grief
As a service to the community, Hospice of the Rapidan will provide a follow-up workshop on coping with holiday grief at 5 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 1200 Sunset Lane, Suite 2320 in Culpeper.
