As the year drew to a close the supervisors were negotiating with Rosemany and William Anderson for 17 acres and with the heirs of Bryant Fletcher for an adjoining 10 acres. These properties are behind the high school and along the Rock Mills Road. The supervisors intend to use the land for a central trash drop off point and for additional athletic facilities for the schools.
