History of Art. Guest speakers, films and hands-on art projects will be included in the Native American Art Course, which will explore the first people who settled on the North America continent, their inspiring art and their struggle.
The Museum Survey Course will consist of field trips to the Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore; the museum of American Art, the Hirshorn, the East Wing, the National Gallery, the African Art Museum, and the Freer Gallery in Washington, D.C. and the Virginia Museum in Richmond. The class will have two orientation meetings, five seven-hour field-trips, probably on various Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, according to the schedules of the participants.
