In the public comment session, board member Bryant Lee noted that the board made ' adjustments to the budget and “pulled out items that could be deducted.” Aline Johnson, the newest member of the board, defended the supervisors’ action, saying, “The board of supervisors did the best they could with what they had. They had so much friction from the community about taxes.”
