Fittingly, the theme inside the shop is Victorian and among the items Shannon Lowry chose to sell are wicker furniture, plaster columns bases, plaster busts, ivy topiaries and needlepoint pillows. Lace scarves on the mantle and shelves and floral scents add to the cozy atmosphere. Hard to find Bonnie Sewell bunnies that are dressed in chenille jackets and flowered hats are arranged next to sculpted vases and bouquets of silk and dried flowers. Fine china teapots, collectible stained glass houses and beautifully crafted birdhouses add to the remarkable collection. In the garden room are decorative garden sculptures including some fountains, frogs and wrought iron.
Although only in their late^ 30s, the Lowrys said they wahted/fco' .open a shop fpi"'years. They traveled ^extensively along the East Codst from Canada to Mexico-always keeping mental notes about why people would stop ftt certain places.
