The chapter was organized in May 1923 with 19 members and was named for the Culpeper Minute Men, a volunteer militia unit formed at the request of Governor Patrick Henry in 1775. Members at present are large-*?' ly from the four local counties, Madison, Culpeper, Rappahannock and Fauquier and number close to 100.
The next meeting will be a luncheon on Tuesday June 9 at Greenyear Farm in Madison, home of Mrs. Edgar F. Puryear, Jr.
