Alice King was appointed to the Town Council over ardently supported Reinhardt Lynch at a packed meeting on Nov. 11 and, shortly after the appointment, normally unruffled Tbwn Attorney Frank Reynolds abruptly announced he would resign next month. Later in the meeting, Town Planning Commission Chairperson Jean Butler and Wastewater Committee member Jeff Butler impulsively resigned their positions.
King will serve the remainder of Peter Skowronski’s term, which will be up for reelection in May 2002. Skowronski resigned from the council last month when he moved out of town.
