The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will sponsor a dance on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the fire hall. Music will be provided by “River Bottom.” Proper dress is required which means no shorts, jeans with holes and all shirts must have collars. No smoking permitted. Doors open at 9 p.m.
A reminder that Rappahannock County School will have an early release on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. and will be closed Nov. 26 and 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Culpeper County Schools will be closed Nov. 25, 26 and 27.
Congratulations to NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon who won his third Winston Cup Championship! You don’t have to be a fan to appreciate the skill he displays on the tract. Way to go Jeff!
