Over the last decade, enthusiasm for soccer in Rappahannock has reached hundreds of families, thanks to devoted groups of committed parents who have dedicated hours of volunteer time to coordinating and overseeing the league over a number of years.
Several changes in the organization have occurred over the last few years that have allowed for new ideas to take shape. Long time commissioner, Richard Price, retired from his position. After years of service, the strong team efforts of Susan Parrish and Vinnie Carney ended, as they stepped down as treasurer and registrar. Peter Kreyling turned over his job as field maintenance volunteer, and some coaches, whose children are now too old for the league, moved on.
