The citizens of Washington,
Va. have spoken in substantial numbers for Reinhardt Lynch — once in the general election and again on a petition on his behalf.
In any other locality, on any other governing board, it has been my experience as a journalist for over 25 years that such facts as these would carry substantial weight and be the turning point in a vote.
After all, the people have spoken. It is their wish that Reinhardt Lynch be put on the town council. This is a democracy. Why is the msyority of our elected town council choosing to ignore this?
