Daniel Emerson was the recipient of the award for fire fighter of the year at the Loyalty Day banquet held at Holiday Inn, earlier in the month.
We would like to extend wedding • anniversary wishes to friends, Turner. and Effie Foster who celebrate another ! year together on June 1 and to my nephew, Clarence and Lisa Frazier, who will observe another year June 6.
Congratulations go out to our area students of Rappahannock High School who have made the honor roll for the fifth advisory, namely, Rebekah Letson and ■ Matthew Wolfe, seniors; to Amanda Sims,. a junior who made the all A honor roll; also Joseph Peregory, a freshman and,eighth grade twins, David and John Letsen. Keep up your good work.
Brittany Thornhill, an eighth grader, also made the all A honor roll.
Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby were afternoon Memorial Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory on Castleton Ford Road. The Grigsby and Peregory children were attending a picnic in Warrenton.
