Artists ’ reception planned
Beads-Fiber-Clay by the Helen Banes Group enlivens the Middle Street Gallery for a celebration June 2-30. A reception to meet the artists will be held June 4 from 2 to 6 p.m.
Nineteen artists comprise the Helen Banes Group, mentored by author and fiber artist Helen Banes. For almost two decades they have explored ancient and exotic cultures. Experimenting with contemporary media and techniques these artists have created art jewelry, wearables and wall art in celebration of their diversity. Middle Street Gallery is located next to The Inn in Washington with gallery hours from Friday until Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
