The Dixon property on US -'211 in Amissville is again central to a Jackson District development prospect. In March, the .Rappahannock News reported , that the 150 acre parcel was proposed for industrial and residential rezoning in Robert lindquist’s Amissville commercial development plan—this time, according to Amissville sources, it is the site for a proposed “Greg Norman” golf course which would be developed by an investor consortium.
