grouped in performance based sessions. This means that for part of each day your child would be working with other children who are functioning at a similar instruction level in language arts and math. Large group instruction would still be the pattern for part of the day in language arts, math, social studies and science.
Students would be placed in a home room class based on their reading placement. As each child’s instructional needs changed during the year, his or her home room assignment could change. This would mean that class assignments would be made according to a child’s instructional needs rather than a family’s preference for a particular teacher. Please plan to attend and be part of the discussion.
