Make plans to attend the Civil War Days in Sperryville next weekend June 3 and 4. The AACA will be having a food booth, with cold drinks, barbecue, coleslaw and chips. There will be information as well as registration forms for the Fall Festival.
Thursday, June 8 is the monthly AACA meeting at the Amissville United Methodist Church. The meeting starts at 7 p.m., details on the progress of the Welcome to Amissville Signs, the new Amissville Post Qffice, and the Fall Festival. Plan to attend and if you have any concerns you would like to address, please come and voice your opinion. Everyone’s opinion matters.
The “Transport to Truth” Kickoff Carnival for Amissville Baptist Vacation Bible School will be on Saturday June 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. Please bring your children if they are planning to attend “SonZone Discovery Center” June 26-30 from 9 a.m. to noon. This year’s Vacation Bible School is open to children from three years of age to the sixth grade. The youth are also welcome as helpers in the various classes, skit and crafts center.
