The third annual Academic
deception took place on May 24 at the Rappahannock County High School. Sponsored and organized by Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation, the evening was devoted to honoring those students in grades 8 through 12 who achieved academic excellence this school year. Teachers selected students from their classes to honor. Close to 100 honored students received awards. The award ceremony was followed by a reception in the Comnions.
